A friend of ours lives in Austria, and invited us to his wedding last week! I was super super excited to get to travel again finally. Even if it was just a weekender.
We flew into Vienna on a Friday, but we didn't get to stay there much. The wedding was actually a little bit south in a small town called Eisenstadt. Very small, and very cute. It was so quiet and relaxing there. At least the area we were in, was 100% walkable to anything you need. Small shops, everywhere and not a large retail store to be found.
This was my first time in a foreign wedding. It was small and relaxed, and not too dissimilar to American weddings I've been to with a few small exceptions. The wedding party and officiator were all seated for most of it, and it included a section where they signed the paperwork to finalize it as part of the ceremony.
10/10 experience π¦πΉ
I didn't like leaving Leon, but at least we were only actually gone for one full day, and our awesome neighbor was kind enough to come over and feed him a few times for us.
